EPS (expanded polystyrene thermoplastic) is a thermal insulation material consisting of 98% still dry air which is made by inflating and fusing the closed pore polystyrene grains with superheated vapor. Compared to white EPS, for carbon EPS, its polymer structure resulting from carbon graphite addition significantly eliminated the thermal radiation contribution to the general thermal conductivity due to adding special infrared reflectors, and it has a 20 to 25% better thermal conductivity performance. EPS is the most economic and high-performance thermal insulation material among other thermal insulation materials in the world.
These can be produced in any density and size from 16 kg/m3 to 30 kg/m3 upon customer request in accordance with TS EN 13163+A1 standard of 02.04.2015.
It is made of class E flameproof material in accordance with TS EN 13501-1.
It has a thermal conductivity of 0.030 to 0.033 W/m.k.
It has an infinite life.
Additionally, the EPS Carbon Sheet coating system provided by our company complies with B-s1, d0 criterion set out in Schedule 1 to TS EN 13501-1 of April 2013.
