EPS in Packaging

EPS in Packaging

EPS has a very wide area of use as a packaging material, and it is produced by injection machinery in desired sizes and shapes. The special molds made of aluminum are designed separately for each product. When removed from the mold, EPS becomes a ready-to-use packaging material.

EPS has good technical properties. It is not affected by humidity, water, UV rays or compression. It does not deteriorate or lose its mechanical or technical properties over time. It is an environmentally friendly material because its production is not energy-intensive and it is recyclable. With the advanced computer-assisted machinery, it can be processed in desired shapes and forms.

Some of the areas of use for packaging are as follows:

  • White goods and electronic devices (refrigerator, TV, etc.)
  • Glass and decorative items (dinnerware, drinkware, souvenirs, etc.)
  • Food (cups, plates, fish boxes, ice-cream boxes, etc.)
  • Medicine (vaccines, cold chain, etc.)
  • As supporting and packaging material for furniture
