Flexible Insulation Plaster

Identification and Areas of Use

Mineralplast is a ceramized mineral plaster which is made by mixing granulated natural marble and granite pieces with natural resins, and used as a coating material on interior and exterior walls.
It ensures water, thermal and sound insulation. It is not affected by excessive temperatures and frost. It can be applied on all surfaces including concrete, wood and metal. It is an environmentally friendly material. It is used as top coating on thermal insulation sheets; surface coating for exposed concrete,
plaster concrete, brick, autoclaved aerated concrete, prefabricated and precast elements; and decorative plaster for interior and exterior building coating.

Instructions for Application

Before Mineralplast application, the surface must be smoothened and cleared of any dirt, rust, oil, dust, etc. The material is poured into a suitable vessel, added water as needed (approx. 5 to 6 l for 25 l) and stirred.
Mixture is allowed to mature for 5 minutes, then stirred again.
Mixture is applied and levelled with rectangular steel trowel.
It is applied with a thickness of approx. 2 mm after Poytherm Insulation Surface Plaster applied on the thermal insulation sheets of the coating systems dries.
